Refund Policy

We want you to love your certificate. Here's how refunds and cancellations work for each format.
1. Digital certificates
Because a digital certificate is delivered instantly and personalised to you, it is non-refundable once it has been delivered to your email. If there's a mistake on the certificate that's our fault, we'll correct and re-issue it free of charge — just reply to your confirmation email.
2. Framed prints
You can request a refund or replacement for a framed print within 30 days of delivery if:
- it arrives damaged or faulty, or
- it differs materially from what you ordered.
Because each print is made to order and personalised, we don't accept change-of-mind returns once production has started, except where required by law (see §4). To start a claim, email hello@unforgettablegolfholes.com with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. In most cases a photo is all we need — we won't usually ask you to ship a damaged item back, but if a return is needed we'll arrange and cover it.
3. Damaged or lost in transit
If your framed print arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive within the expected window, contact us with your order number and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
4. EU/UK right to cancel
If you're in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period for distance purchases. Two limits apply here: for digital products, that right ends once delivery begins with your consent, which you give at checkout when you ask for instant delivery; for personalised/made-to-order goods such as our framed prints, the statutory cooling-off right does not generally apply. Your other consumer rights — including for faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods — are unaffected.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Where only part of an order can't be fulfilled (for example, a print fails but you keep the digital certificate), we issue a partial refund for the affected portion.
