This policy explains what personal information Unforgettable Golf Holes collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

Unforgettable Golf Holes is operated by Blues Adventures Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

• Contact & identity — your name and email address.
• Order & shipping — for framed prints, your postal address and phone number.
• Certificate content — the details you enter (golfer name, course, hole, date, score) and any photo you upload.
• Payment — handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers, only a payment reference and the last steps of the transaction.
• Usage & device — pages visited, approximate location (from IP), and analytics/advertising identifiers via cookies (see §7).

3. How we use it

• To create, fulfil, and deliver your certificate (digital and/or framed print).
• To send order, shipping, and support emails.
• To take payment and issue refunds.
• To measure advertising and improve the site (only with your consent where required — see §7).
• To meet legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We use the following processors. Each receives only the data needed for its task.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Our processors operate in the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, and elsewhere, so your information may be processed outside New Zealand. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we rely on the recipient being in a country with comparable privacy protection or on the provider's standard contractual safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep your information protected.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order and certificate records — including the details you enter and any photo you upload — for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our tax and accounting obligations, which in New Zealand is generally 7 years. Rendered certificate files are held by our storage provider so we can re-send or reprint your order, and the download links we email you expire after 7 days. You can ask us to delete your uploaded photo once your order is complete (see §8), and we delete records we no longer need.

7. Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies to run the site, and analytics/advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Google Ads) to measure performance. We apply Google Consent Mode v2 and Meta's consent controls: where consent is required (EU/UK/EEA), these non-essential cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner, and nothing tracks until you do. Your choice is remembered, and you can change it at any time using the cookie-settings control on the site.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any right, email privacy@unforgettablegolfholes.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority (in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner).

9. Children

Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
